This leather bit gag gives the teeth something to work with. A genuine leather bit runs between the jaws, long enough to bite down on the full length of it rather than just around a single point. Two sizes come with the two colors, and the difference is more than skin deep. Black runs longer and slightly slimmer, a 9 inch biting surface at 1 3/8 inches thick, with an adjustable range of 19 to 25 inches. Red is shorter but thicker, a 6 inch biting surface at 1.5 inches thick, with a range of 18 to 22 inches. Neither is a beginner or expert version of the other, just two different builds for two different mouths and preferences.
The leather is hand dyed, so some natural variance in tone is part of the piece rather than a flaw in it. Padded where it meets the skin, finished with two O-rings on the strap for attaching a leash or hood, and adjustable with a buckle that settles comfortably at the back of the neck.
PRO TIP: A bit gag held between clenched teeth can still affect speech and swallowing, especially over a longer scene. Keep checking in on jaw fatigue and never leave a gagged partner unattended.
